My name is Namara Alana, and I’m an aspiring model based in the Netherlands. I’m currently developing my portfolio and preparing to step into full-time, international work starting in 2026.

I’m currently earning my bachelor’s degree in skin therapy (4th and final year), but my interests stretch far beyond one path.

I grew up in foster care, in the past fourteen years I have lived with three different foster families and that taught me how to adapt. I carry that resilience into everything I do: in front of a camera, at work or out in the world. I believe in building a life that reflects who you want to be, not limited to what you were given.

I have what some would call too many hobbies, I call it a full life. I read philosophy, biology, and romance novels. I draw, write, crochet, cook, and roll burritos professionally.

The thread that runs through all my hobbies is creation, the joy of bringing something new into the world. Whether it’s crafting a story, modeling for a picture, designing an outfit, cooking a meal, sketching a drawing or making a clothing piece by crochet, I’m drawn to the process of building something that wasn’t there before. 

Travel is a big part of who I am. I’ve lived with a host family in Texas as an au pair and I will be volunteering in Costa Rica in August 2025.

Having a lot of hobbies is one of my favorite things about myself, it shows other personality traits that I carry, which is curiosity and being open-minded.
